Webb Air employs a customer-friendly, flat-rate pricing system for residential repairs. Flat-rate pricing is based on national averages for estimated repair time allowances. It is intended to provide consumers with a fair and level pricing system that eliminates the risk of inaccurate estimates and repairs that take longer than they should. Let’s face it, because of varying experience levels, some technicians take longer than others to make the same repair. With flat rate pricing, it doesn’t matter. If a repair takes longer than the allotted time, that’s our problem not yours.
Here’s how it works. An initial diagnostic fee is charged for coming to your house and determining the problem. Once the problem has been determined, the technician consults the flat rate pricing catalog to determine the prices for each task required to restore your system to proper working order. You approve the cost of repairs before the actual work is done. If you choose not to make the recommended repairs, you are responsible for paying only the diagnostic fee. You are not under any obligation to accept the recommended repairs.
Once the initial repair has been selected, approved, and completed the Webb Air technician will perform a multi point inspection on the entire system. This is important because sometimes there are underlying issues that may have contributed to the initial system failure. In some cases the technician may find the need to make additional adjustments or repairs. The bottom line is, we want to be thorough and make sure we leave your system performing the way it should.
Benefits of Flat Rate System
- You know the prices before the work is performed
- Eliminates the risk of inaccurate or low ball estimating
- No watching the clock to assure accurate labor reporting
- No obligation beyond the diagnostic fee
- Keeps you in charge through the entire process
Diagnostic Fees:
- $100 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)*
- $200 (After Hours & Weekends Until 9:00 PM)*
- $250 (Holidays & After 9PM)*
Buyer Beware
As a consumer you should be aware that many companies advertise low initial diagnostic fees or claims that they do not charge overtime or additional after hours service fees. Lots of companies use this technique to get their foot in the door and then sell repairs at prices that are inflated or in some cases unnecessary. Let’s face it, there are extra costs associated with sending a technician out after normal business hours – and companies are not going to stay in business by doing it for free!
